So today’s thoughts:
I got to drive down the new road! I know this makes me a total dork, but I have watched that road being built over the past 5 years or so and I got to drive on it today! They had previously completed an overpass that was awesome, because I hadn’t ever seen one go up piece by piece before, but because I never have reason to exit there I have never used it, just...

30 days of knitting (11-13)
11: Do you have a “Knitter Hero” or someone that is just way too awesome for their own good? Do share!
All knitters I know are awesome! My friend A**** is pretty awesome. Her stuff always knits up so evenly and looks like the picture! I tend to follow patterns half-way so my stuff never looks like the picture. She’s pretty awesome.

6: What is your favorite piece that you’ve knit?

Day 2! (30 days o'knitting)
2: What is currently on your needles?
Currently I have dog parts and a floofy scarf on my needles. I have to make a set of ears and a tail to finish a doggie draft dodger for a friend. The tinseltown ribbony yarn scarf has been on the needles as a “knit when I’m not in the mood for a thinking project” for a while now. A friend worked on it this evening while I made dog feet. ...

30 Days of Knitting Day 1
1: What was your first finished project?
Technically this was a garter stitch triangle cat toy. The cat promptly hid it under the couch. She was not thrilled with my new-found skill. She isn’t really impressed by any of my projects but does enjoy sitting on them while I am knitting or while they are being blocked.
